I’m Alon Hearter.
I live in Israel with my family.
I have a son who likes trucks, and I enjoy finding increasingly elaborate ways to give him more trucks. I listen to albums from beginning to end, meditate, drink coffee, and spend too much time adjusting small things that were probably fine already.
I was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer in 2025. I write about that here sometimes. Other times I write about parenting, music, software, AI, or whatever has been occupying my head.
I make software for work and for fun. I prefer simple tools, direct communication, and systems that the people using them can actually understand.
There is no grand plan for this blog. It is just where I write.
